Research Interests
My lab is involved in the mapping of neuroanatomical networks that are involved in propagation of seizure discharges. We use a combination of imaging & electrophysiological methods. Our goal is to understand the anatomy of seizure propagation and how the pathological involvement of epileptic networks explain the involuntary behavior and thought seen or experienced during seizures. We test hypotheses at cellular, local, and system levels using intracranial recording/stimulation and fMRI/EEG.
