Scientific Focus
Research Interests
Clinical translational research in the human application of emerging immunotherapies for neuroimmunologic diseases, including Multiple Sclerosis, CIS and Neuromyelitis Optica. Collaborative research with Stanford and extramural faculty to identify biomarkers of diesease activity and treatment response. Recent MS clinical trials include studies of alemtuzumab, oral sphingosine 1 phosphate inhibition, NIH CombiRx and Biomarkers, Subcutaneous Tovaxin in Subjects with CIS, Subcutaneous Daclizumab, NC-100 Novantrone induction, dose ranging GA pilot trial, natalizumab safety and tolerability monitoring and sub-investigation of FTY720, Fampridine SR, and RTL-1000 for secondary progressive MS.
