At the Stanford Movement Disorders Center we combine cutting-edge research with clinical expertise to provide our patients with the most effective diagnostic and treatment modalities. We offer a comprehensive range of medical and surgical treatments for adults and children with any type of movement disorder, including but not limited to Parkinson's Disease, Essential Tremor, Dystonia, Blepharospasm, Tics, Chorea, Tardive Dyskinesia, Multiple System Atrophy and other Parkinsonian syndromes.

Using a team approach, we assess each patient with state of the art diagnostic tools and design a customized therapy program that may involve medication and/or surgical treatment. Most importantly, patients have the confidence that comes from knowing they are being cared for by leading experts in the movement disorders field, people who deliver care backed by in-depth medical knowledge and scientific research, expert skill and human compassion. Our multidisciplinary team has recently expanded to include 3 movement disorder neurologists, 2 neurosurgeons, a neuropsychologist, a medical physicist, and 2 nurse coordinators.
