Since 1999, children and adults from all over the United States have been referred by their physicians to the Stanford Movement Disorders Center (SMDC) for expert evaluation and treatment.
The SMDC offers a comprehensive range of medical and surgical treatments for people with any type of movement disorder. Using a team approach, we assess each patient with state of the art diagnostic tools and then design a customized therapy program that may involve medication and or surgical treatment.
